Mother's Day Mini Memory Book
This project is probably better for an adult, but children can
help by picking out pictures and pasting. Any mom will love this fun
mini memory book and it doesn’t cost much to make.

What you will need:
1. 3 Brown lunch bags
2. Stapler
3. Ribbon and scrapbook paper in coordinating colors
4. Glue
5. Scrapbook tags
6. Scissors
7. Paper cutter
8. Nice pen or computer and printer
Directions:
1. Begin by lining up the brown paper bags. You will want to make
sure that the open ends of the bags are alternated. For example, if
the top bag has the end that opens facing to the left, you will want
to face the open end of the next bag to the right.
2. Fold all of the paper bags together so that they form a book.
(The bottom bag will be both the front and back cover.)
3. Use the stapler to make the binding of the mini book.
4. Glue ribbon over the staples and the “binding” of the book.
5. Decorate the front cover so that it is special and relates to
the rest of the mini book. For example if you are going to be
putting pictures in of grandkids you might want to put in a title
like, “Grandma’s Little One’s.”
6. On the inside pages mount pictures on to scrapbook paper.
Attach the pictures to the pages. Because of the size of the mini
book you will most likely only be able to put one picture on each
page. Decorate around the picture.
7. For the pages that have an opening (on the side of the book
where the lunch bag would usually open) you can insert scrapbook
tags with handwritten or typed journaling that talks about special
memories of your mom or favorite traits. Plan carefully and try to
have the tags match the pictures they are near. For example if you
are telling a memory that only you and your mom shared you may want
to have the tag be near a picture of you or you and your mom.
This type of album can be modified to fit any person, style or
idea and Mom’s will love them.
